The McHenry Williams Large Axis is another fine looking Benchmade fighting knife for the fighting knife lover. Right out of the box, this Benchmade knife has one extremely sharp blade. Rubbing you thumb along this blade will give you goose bumps.

The machined G10 handle scales on this McHenry Williams Benchmade knife are what give it such an excellent, sturdy grip. This one isn’t going to be knocked loose from your grip no matter what the ordeal. These handles were designed to withstand quite a bit of abuse and provide quite the ergonomic grip for those that are into that.

The D2 tool steel blade will last you virtually forever. You won’t find yourself dulling this one easy but be prepared for a chore and have a can of elbow grease on standby when sharpening time comes around. Although this blade will hold up for some time, it must be sharpened. However, your efforts will pay off as the blade is very hard-wearing.

Man I love these Benchmade knives. The McHenry Williams models are beyond explanation in words. You just have to hold one and you’ll feel my drift. Trust me on that one!
