Cold Steel Trail Master Knife - Tough as Nails

The Cold Steel Trail Master is one of the best knives for your money that you can get in the manufactured knife market. I think Cold Steel has done it up right with the Trail Master.

The Cold Steel Trail Master is made tough and this is demonstrated by the point tip of the knife. It is built thicker than most other knives you will find from other manufacturers. The tip would take quite a bit of force to snap.

The tip of the Trail Master is also very sharp making for easy penetration.

What I like about the Trail Master is that it is blade heavy. What I mean by this is that it is weighted heavier in the blade to make chopping much easier. This knife is a lot more comfortable than most you will find of this size.

Both of the Cold Steel Trail Master knives that I carry have the 9.5 inch blade. The Cold Steel San Mai Trail Master has the San Mai steel that is virtually indestructible. This knife is perfect in the jungle environment because it stands up to humidity like no other.

I try to keep the Cold Steel San Mai Trail Master (16JSM) in stock but it moves pretty fast. You can click on the image to check availability.Another, more affordable, Cold Steel Trail Master knife is the 39L16C model with the SK-5 black steel. This is a high carbon steel that keeps a very sharp edge and can withstand quite a bit of abuse.

I’ve got to hand it to Cold Steel for the toughness that is found in this knife. This is probably one of my favorite larger knives.
