The Ka Bar knife brand is your assurance of quality, dirt eating hard core ruggedness and the sign of a true legend in military quality knives.

Just a quick tidbit of Ka Bar knife history and interest.

Did you ever wonder where the Ka Bar name came from?

An old fur trapper, back in the mid-1920’s, wrote a letter of thanks to the Ka Bar company. He told of how his gun had jammed while in a vicious confrontation with a massive bear. He had to use his knife to kill the bear or he himself would have been killed.Ka Bar Knife Logo

In the letter, the hunter wrote “k a bar”. His writing was very difficult to read, but the “k a bar” was in the context of killing the bear. The company was so honored by this letter that they adopted the Ka Bar knife name.

Have a Good One.
