One Very Scared American

I’m a bit nervous this morning as I think about our upcoming election. Never before has there been so many threats to our American culture, democratic way of life and American values than there are today.

There are many running for the office of the President of the United States that I wouldn’t give the responsibility of counting the knives in my fighting knife collection to much less the responsibility of a country.

The one that is really getting me fuming lately is the socialist wife of socialist ex-president, Bill Clinton. Yes, you guessed it, I’m referring to Hillary Clinton.

Hillary’s take from the rich and middle class and then redistribute to the poor is the exact things they did in the former Soviet Union. Look how that worked out.

Here is the lying Hillary Clinton’s latest change of mind…

The campaign swiftly amended the remarks to say it wasn’t a policy position, but just an “idea,” even though members of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) whom she was addressing seemed to like what they heard. As The Washington Times reported Tuesday, Republicans immediately ridiculed the idea, and some operatives said it was Mrs. Clinton’s first mistake of the 2008 campaign. Polls proved it was unpopular, so it was locked away and never mentioned again, baffling some of her Democratic rivals but illustrating a broader theme of the Clinton campaign — discipline and dominance.

She’s a liar and she intends on changing our way of life to more socialistic values. Look at her plans for healthcare.

I’m scared.

Bill Clinton isn’t running for president and was hardly a socialist. Remember the huge surplus of wealth this country used to have? I’m sure whatever city you live in Cole isn’t as hopping as it used to be about 5 years ago. Anyway, Hillary is no different that any of the other politicians out there. They are all different shades of gray. But I’m curious, where is Bush on the scale for you? You go to admit, the pendulum has swung way to far to the right and history and reason dictates that is needs to swing back to the left at least a yard of two. Cut some slack so that it can brother. All candidates aside, this country and the people in it need to regain control of the reigns and keep these meglomaniac money grubbers out of the saddle. I got to go plug in my electric car now. Later.

    Hello Bob,

Thanks for your comments. I do agree with you 100%. Our government has swung too far to the right. I firmly believe that their should be a balance. I would have to disagree with you on the economy though. It appears to me that things are as good as they ever were.

As far as Bush goes, I’ll need a series of blog posts to point out my frustrations. I believe he has done well on the war in Iraq but am very upset about his alliance with Mexico in the opening of our borders and the lack of support for those that protect them. This makes me question his reasoning for Iraq. Why pour all of our resources into a war in Iraq when we’re getting overrun here? We’re in a war on terrorism, right? Why aren’t we protecting our borders from terrorist entry?

If Bush were running again, he would not receive my support. Between him and Hillary Clinton, man, I don’t know what I’d do. I guess I’d sit around and complain in my blog about it more than I write about knives. :)

You’re absolutely right though. This country needs strong and honest leadership that is devoted to the people and not their own hidden interests. This country hasn’t had that in quite some time. I can assure you of that. I’m not real happy with the candidates that are running now. I don’t know where things are going to go.

    Take Care,
    Cole
